Plasti-Dipped 15s with 195/65R15 Toyo's
I'll be real interested to see how the dip holds up on those dust shields.
Why are you dipping a white car white? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The dust shields were painted white when I had them on the Saturn and they held up well, the shields are vented, so temp isn't really an issue.
I'm doing the white, white for several reasons. One to cover any imperfections, areas that have started to rust (I've put rust fix / rust stop / rust mort on them) but you can still see them. There is also some areas of the rear that has damage to the paint. So having it dipped white gets me the same flat color as the rest of the car will be, it protects what is still good and it covers what needs to be covered. |

I don't know, I always thought of rusted drums as good looking. It means the car's been driven. And you gotta show off those discs! Don't care if the calipers show rust, they'd just match the rusted drums. But show us your discs!!!
(That sounds kinda dirty... I know I like it...) |

I think the white dust shields look goofy.

But they ride nice. And when the roads are crap, I'll take a larger tire and smoother ride over larger rims and numb butt.
I've had my share of lowered cars with large rims and tiny tires. They ALWAYS end up being more work than they are worth around these parts. They fill the wheel well, they don't rub and they ride nice. Plus, I didn't have to go get anything new. These were a direct remove / install from my 04 Saturn that just died. Just bought the rims/rubber less than 3 months ago, so when the Saturn's Engine died and I bought the Yaris, I was quite glad to find out that I could just put the brand new rims/rubber on the Yaris without spending a dime. |

Not sure they would make the Disc's look small, Stock rim on the Yaris is a 15, these are 15's so they would fill the openings the same. The drums on the rear is where it looks off. Personally I like hiding things that distract from the overall image. Once the whole car gets dipped, the whole "Matte Black and Matte White" is going to really pop, being able to carry that theme to the rims just makes me happy. |

MJZ, I like the look of the 195/65-15 tires and was thinking they would be an alternative to the 185/75-14 snow tires. The stock 14" steel wheels are hard to come by. Bill C

The tire size has worked pretty well, ZERO issues with rubbing, even when loaded down with 600 lbs worth of driver and passenger!
