Cleaning Electronic Throttle Body and IAC??!
Is this a good idea? I've heard of it causing problems later. I decided to clean my maf sensor, but leave the body alone.
What do you think? |

It won't cause problems unless you leave the battery connected or the throttle body connector plugged I and use your hand to open/close butterfly valve.
Make sure you unplug either the connector or the battery if you're going to be using your hand to open/close the butterfly valve.

Cleaned it with CRC Sensor Kleen, no problem, except a ton of salt caked around when the plastic intake hose sits. Started up after a few hard cranks and ran, no problem.
