Manual Transmission and ECU (Price Looking for Used Possibly)
Well thought I was gonna keep my A/T Yaris as a daily driver, but pretty much thinking of reversing that ... dunno about a 2ZZ-GE swap yet so just looking at the other option and making my car 5spd instead. Just wondering how much the manual tranny and ECU would go for or who has one from a car that they accidently got hit.
If its like any other swap I've done .. then this should be the list - manual transmission - manual ECU - lower wiring harness(?) - clutch - flywheel - clutch line - master cylinder - slave cylinder (if not on located tranny) Man after writing all of this, I wish i bought my Yaris in 5spd. Does anyone one know the exact damage if I were to trade my Yaris in a year (fees, taxes, etc.) Now that I pretty much know whats the next project car (would still preffer RWD), I'm trying to price out my options. So far its between a M/T swap or a 2ZZ-GE M/T.

I have priced out the 2zz-ge 6speed m/t swap out for about $2000-$3500 with me doing the work..... That is going rate for the cars with these motors at auction with good fronts on them.... plus you can sell the misc parts like headlights, bumper hood, airbags, wheels, struts, etc..... to recoup some of your $$$ Also when buying the whole car to do the swap you know you will have everything to do the swap
you can recoup as much as $1000-1500, or more, selling off the unused parts depending unpon condition
