Stray wire in engine bay

I was checking on a possible coolant leak earlier and found this loose wire tucked away under the coolant reservoir. I can't see anywhere that it should be connected to, is it just a left over connector for a feature my car doesn't have? Or is there a connector somewhere I can't see?
