My Yaris is a debris magnet

I've decided that this is probably a good sign...

That perhaps my Yaris' only flaw is a preternatural gravitational attraction my front bumper has for small, pointy bits of road debris.

I've been noticing that small amorphous bits of rock, asphalt, even a small plastic bucket, materialize out of thin air and came darting from the adjacent lane right at my front bumper.

It's like that urban legend of the house that had rocks rain on it for three days straight for no apparent reason.

I just discovered that one of the chunks off the finger of God cut a half inch long abrasion into my front bumper. Crap.

It's too bad my warranty doesn't cover the quantum mechanics of my car's local multiverse.

Check Heizenberg's Multiverse Extended Warranty. It's a good deal. Maybe.

I hear it's a bit of a Schrodenger-like deal... I cannot possibly know if it is worth the money until I actually pay for it.

If you think the LB's are bad just be thankful you don't have a sedan. My 'S' has that nice flat front end that just sucks the bugs in. The front end near the bottom is all chipped up.

Well, I don't feel so bad now. Black Yaris LB, noticing the little chips and scrapes pile up. I suppose the best you can do is get a bottle of touch up paint and some clear coat also. The chips and dings show up more on the black car. I am learning to live with it. I am lucky in that I do have some detailing supplies since I like to do that kind of thing and can attack problems right away. p.s. Another source of irritation is bird dung ---- get some detail spray and wipe it off ASAP or most likely it will eat through your clear coat in no time. If someone eggs your car (happened to me but not on the Yaris - on my wife's silver
Echo) you must get that stuff off like immediately! keep a watchful eye, walk around the car once a day, check it out, get familiar with it, wash it yourself and get some basic supplies. And learn to live with it....sigh...
