Upgrading and Warranty
I went ahead and got the 100,000 mile warranty. What exactly will void it and to what extent? Say I put some of those Tanabe lowering springs on. Will that void it and if so, will it void the warranty on the entire suspension or just the shocks?

An aftermarket part will only void the warranty if it can be proven that it caused the failure of any given parts of the car...
So if you have Tanabe springs, the dealer could really void any suspension components if the problem can be traced back to the springs... Cheers |

Hmm, okay, I guess I'll just have to take a chance then. My S looks like it's lifted and I can almost look drivers of small SUV's in the eye.
Thanks for the info. |

Here's a little reading for those worried about mods and how they effect their warranty.
