Hey Tek, if it keeps you out of the shrinks office and puts a smile on your face, go for it. My other vehicle that I've had for years is ragged, snarling, lurching, chopped up rockcrawler TJ, and say what you want about its a)mpg b)comfort c)reliability d)resale value e)street manners, every time I hop out of it I look back at it smile... God, I love that rig. Every car should do that for you, if it ain't your Yari anymore, whatever.
Best of luck :) |

I've got a lot of toys in the garage to cure my lust, but I love my Yaris (easy to look at, dependable, and does everything I need). Don't think your Yari will mind you having a little on the side....find something like a T Bucket/Spyder/etc. for $15k or less to satisfy your needs!!!! Unless you're a one car kinda guy.

the miata had the least amount of blind spots with the top up, the sky and solstice were horrable, my wife could not see at all out the back, plus just after going over the cars with comfort, materials, seating position, layout, the miata seemed far superior, the solstice and the sky were in the same price range, but much lower quality cars in our opinion. Plus you actually still have a trunk with the miata.... and the miata has traction control that is not offered on the GM vehicles, which was important to my wife on a RWD vehicle

because that was here newest kick of what she wanted... The Tick Tack car is a chick car. Now a Honda S2000 Spoon, now that is a masculine car.

Get a suburban van. Women love that vehicle. I see women driving those things where I live big time. You have to remember. Womens main goal in life is to have children and they need a vehicle to transport those brats.

honestly, I used to buy into the whole wow convertibles are so cool phase.. and then ... I really don't care because I don't like my hair being blown every which way. Nowadays, fuel economy is what matters to me with the price of gases. What's the point of buying an expensive car that guzzles gas and depreciates in value like every other car when you can have a cheap lil' one with awesome toyota reliability and great gas mileage= saves money!

But I have to say, convertibles are really only fun in spring and fall--this year I have not had top down since June, even put hard top back on so A/C works better. I love that the new ones have retractable hard top! |

I've had 3 Saturns. All 3 were almost perfect, reliability wise. Very good servicing from the dealer. Only complaint I had with them was the poor Firestone tires they were equipped with. I'd probably still have one if they had a small wagon in their lineup.

Here in Toronto, going topless hasn't caught on, even though it's now legal.
However, If I was in hawaii, topless wouldn't be such a bad thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD-3oL20tyI If I wanted to look up at the sky while driving, I'd rather do it in a Jeep. |
