So glad to be done with school, it really gets in the way of the important things in life, haha. I dynoed my car today with our school's automotive club, the little yaris came in at 103 whp and 103 ft-lbs of torque. Also, since removing my rear seats and trunk compartments, I didn't like the look of the bare metal...so today I removed all of the panels in the back, cleaned everything, and carpeted the trunk! Looks way better imo.

How many hp do you think removing the rear seats gave you on the dyno?

probably about 500 or so c'mon Long, I've had my seats out of my car longer than I ever had them in :) I got sick of playing "taxi driver" with my friends.

Lisa, remember when I painted my wheels in the kitchen...and you were scared I didn't have proper ventilation? Picture me laying in the back of my car using spray adhesive six inches from my face (for accuracy). I didn't open the hatch until later because I didn't want dirt or wind messing anything up.

I'm happy to see you're still able to function.

I want to paint my lower grill ala Thomas one of these days. That's a cheap mod.

Yes. Did you change the cloth parts of the doors out, yet?

Have you posted pictures? I'd also like to paint the silver parts on the dash blue to match the rims now, but I'm chicken. :o)

It's not the painting that makes me so nervous, but the taking the dash apart that does. I know I'll break a clip or ten.

lol, if you take your time, it should be fine. seriously, this car is like a big Lego...most of the interior panels (and some of the exterior ones) just snap apart
