What's going on over at Sunrise Valley?

I'll keep an eye out for you when I get out of here in 30.

A few months ago I was at a gas station and this old guy started talking in a really loud voice to a Harley owner/rider who was filling up behind me about how he was happy to see someone who "stayed true" and bought American made products.

Wow, he found out pretty quickly that he picked the wrong girlie to mess with. Since HD is one of our biggest customers I was able to tell the dude exactly where each and every flipping part of that bike came from, from the wheels produced in Australia to the speedometer from Japan. The only thing American about those bikes anymore is that they are ASSEMBLED here.

Neither one had much to say after I was finished. =)

We package parts to sell in the retail HD stores. We calibrate speedometers for those who are replacing or up-grading. Also, we ship complete bikes (in pieces, in crates) to Brazil. Where they are reassembled and sold.

We also export bike parts to China.

I was just so mad that he was talking loud enough for me to hear insulting my gas-saving car in favor of a bike so NOT American and his gas guzzling Chevy Malibu. As much as I wanted to ignore, I couldn't. =)
