Gas cap looks like those on the sport car, it looks great !!
If people are going to keep the car for long and pay it off right away, I don't see why not.

Not sure will those fit onto our car though, but thanks for sharing

With a TRD fusebox cover, TRD Oil cap, and a C-One radiator cap, I resemble that remark !! I guess I do "need" that TRD gas cap to add to my financial eccentricity !!

This is a car forum after all. I bought an aftermarket air horn, most people on here appreciate that. Some people are like "Why would you buy a horn when your car has one".

An air horn I can understand...the stock horn is not that loud, and having a loud air horn could be seen as a safety feature, and could--potentially--be lifesaving.

A $40 gas cap which costs a buck to make, and is never even seen, seems kind of silly to me. (Have you also considered having an artist etch an interesting design on your muffler...?) However, it is a free world, and everybody has the right to choose what they want to buy.

Funny, but I can't help thinking about P.T.Barnum though...

I made those for $3, but looking back, they were a waste of time.

I'm just speaking from experience. I have wasted money and time on stupid crap in the past, can't I tell other people to save their monay?

what if you dont have a balance on your credit cards... is it ok then?

It's better. To buy anything that isn't essential when you're paying monthly interest charges on c/c's is pretty dumb, imo. I don't make a lot of money, but I do budget very well. I have not paid a penny of interest on c/c in over 15 years, a record I'm proud of. This is not how "typical American's" spend, and I feel fortunate that I am not a typical American.

hehe I only use 0% interest cards....and pay off monthly....or carry a balance for a certain amount of time say when an emergency comes up that requires more than what is in the bank account (i.e.) house floods or tranny goes out....

why don't you just have a balance and pay 100 (or however much is calculated) over the minimum so you never touch the interest? If you do it directly and not online there shouldn't be any finance charges...

that or spend as much as you can on a cc and pay it off in one paycheck? especially if your limit is only 1000 you can pretty much pay that off in a couple of days. I don't see the big deal especially since it'll build your credit in the long run.

I have 4 credit cards and a credit rating well over 750. I zero the balance on each of them every paycheck and i was able to buy my own yaris and sign for it myself with 6% interest.

So again, i don't see how having a CC will hurt you. The "typical" american doesn't know how to manage their credit, which is probably just as bad as having, NO credit.

bobby, I know you don't live in New York City if you're preaching fiscal responsibility. Isn't a gallon of milk about 2 grand up there? I hope you live in the burbs...

PS: that post definitely says it won't fit our cars. Whether or not it is correct, who knows? Maybe the one pictured earlier in this thread is a different size?
