First to install twm shortshifter!!! I think...
well i just got my shifter in today, and I installed it right away. I must say that it's probably my favorite modification of all. Throws are really short, and it doesnt feel nearly as spongy. It was a pretty easy install, about 30 min. My only complaint is the fact that you have to pry this little fastener off, and its hard to not to booger up the plastic shifter assembly. The instructions said to use a screwdriver or a dremel. I didnt have a dremel so.... Well at any rate i would advise against using a screw driver to pry it off. It was only cosmetic damage that isn't visible, but i hate to have any blemishes on my baby. To all you guys who installed leather shift boots...How did you do it??? For anyone who's wondering about ergonomics. I'm 6' 2" and its a lil' bit of a reach for me compared to stock but its worth it. Anyone whose under 6' will find it comfortable.

Prefer the stock shift knob. I have a short shifter on my tC and the stock shift knob fells WAAAYYY better.

TWM are great products and they are Made in Quebec! hehehehe.
BTW, when I owned a Nissan Sentra Spec-V a few years ago, TWM offered a very nice short shifter, but a few month later, another Quebec's company named "FAKTION" offer a similar product (almost like a copy) with exactly the same quality and design for half the price of the TWM. I don't know if FAKTION is still in business, but maybe they will offer short shifter for the Yaris one day...
