Seriously though....I mean, I don't know how the kid could stand it. The car was literally a jack hammer on wheels. Oh well....

it's simple math..

if you have 7 coils designed to support 600lbs.. and you cut off one coil, you have to split that 86lbs with the remaining 6 coils. if the spring is heavy duty enough, you'll be fine.. if its not (Tanabe DF style) you'll bottom out more, and eventually may see spring failure.

i'm currently running Tein Stechs from an xB (much heavier car) with a coil removed from each spring.. the car rides fine, and because my car is about 350lbs lighter than a stock xA i have no issues with over-straining the springs.
