Just a teaser , here's my new Gear Knob to go with my new Shift Boot ,
Thanks Garm

I need to make a little spacer to lift the boot , but apart from that ,
it's bloody nice.

Those look really nice.

Might I suggest adding a bit of leather/upholstery glue to the edges?

Just left it. I drilled my stock shift knob out to fit, and hammered it onto the shaft. It's a very snug fit.

As a side note, I'm currently trying to put a suede shift boot in my 09 LB, and the shifter trim ring is totally different from the ones pictured here. The material has to be a lot thinner to pass over the ring, then sandwich between the ring and the center console. The snaps on the ring itself are also much smaller, and fewer in number. Be warned!

I'll post pics if I can.

The 09 boots are viynal , and stapled to the ring , if i remember correctly .
you can find and purchase the 08 ring it will fit.
