Where to start?

Hey guys.
I just got a used 2008 Yaris Sedan today (MY FIRST CAR!) and I like it a lot.
It has the standard package, so it just has the manual windows, mirrors, locks, etc.

I'm looking to put some aesthetic mods on it because it's pretty plain right now, but I have no idea where to start.

I've never modded cars or anything of the sort. Any tips on what would be a good project to start on, or some tutorials to get me started?

Thanks!

Fog lights , from Microimage , they come complete with how too fit instructions .
Lowering springs , plenty of how too threads on here .
Work out what you want too do , and you can do a little research
by using the search function , some times helpful but not always.
Or just ask the questions on here.

Congrats on the "new" car!

If it's just aesthetic mods you're after right now, you could simply rebadge it with Vios or Belta emblems. Then, search for some nice wheels and tyres.

Enjoy your new car!
I would lower it first. IMO wheels look bad, unless lowered!
Lowered, rims, front grill(cali yaris sells a nice one )...
