ECLIPTECH progressive shiftlight
time to get these ordered guys. Need to know color and shape preferences.
I can get the price down to the $125 range (more or less by a few dollars). [EDIT] note that the round one fits over an aftermarket tach nicely! [EDIT] USER MANUAL (pdf) 1. cali yaris 2. aucorium 3. hatchbackkid82 4. aeipee13 5. poorsha 6. 7. 8. http://www.ecliptech-us.com/index.ph...=59&Itemid=109

when i modified my DEFI HUD i changed the all-blue LED's to blue then yellow then two reds.. but i think green/amber/red would go better with the stock yaris lighting .. maybe?

I personally would do green/amber/red, but I can order either. Just don't want to order a bunch of the one people DON'T want, lol.
Fortunately (kind of), there's no gauge cluster behind the steering wheel.

Excuse my ignorance.... Is this a "shift indicator"? Does it's scale reference your rpm's and can you set up at what rpm's the progressive lights will come on? EX... amber at 5500 and red at 6250. Will the curved ones or the straight ones fit best on the steering column? (I'm not near my car so I can't remember if the column is curved or straight behind my steering wheel.)

I think straight fits our cars best.
Yes, it is programmable in terms of what lights up at what rpm. You could even program this for hypermiling, whatever you want to use it for.

The top of our steering column is more flat than curved, so the flat version would probably be more appropriate. I think most people getting a curved one would use it on (1) another vehicle or (2) on top of a tachometer.
