There are no issues with cold with the OLED. I had hoped to have time to wrap this up during my 3 weeks of vacation around the holidays, but ended up spending more time working on work stuff, than personal stuff, while I was off.

I can't believe I've kept hoping it'll be for sale just next week, every single week.

I'm still really swamped with work, so I haven't had time lately to work on it. These thread bumps do a good job of making me feel guilty for not getting it out yet.

Scott> I know it's been asked and such here and there, but is there anything any of us can do to help lighten your load or help this project along?

I am actually thinking about having a friend/old employee of mine jump in and give me a hand. He's out of work at the moment and is one of the best embedded software developers I have ever had work for me.

I've always known a buddy and a six pack to be the best way of getting a job done.

Also, bump for guilt trip, I've been following this yargauge concept for awhile and have been holding off on scangauge for it. Probably would have given up and gotten the scan, IF they had military discount, lol

I don't want to be a downer but, from a purely marketing stand point, the longer a product takes to get to market ......after a while, interest can start to wane.

Personally, I will want it no matter how long it takes (as I hope others will), but it is something to keep in mind.

You just have to think of the YarGauge as being like the IPhone for Verizon customers...

Your point is definitely true and would be a huge issue if developing the YarGauge was my day job.

Verizon and Apple finished first. Hopefully you'll be the last to laugh.

^ do Kickstarter as previously suggested and use the money to hire your friend to get them produced. Kickstarter contributors get a special deal. Done.
