Thanks Clark. I'll show my friend your pics and let him decide if they're too blue or not.

6000K may, and I say may, have a slight hint of blue . . . I can't tell, but then again I am color-blind.

Go for 5000K for true white

Yeah, I have 6000k on mine, and I think it's too blue. However, I installed an 8000k HID kit on my gf's bro's Hachi, and it was actually whiter than mine. I figured since mine is an eBay kit, it must have been wrong. lol. I'll let my friend decide based on pics.

Just curious. I know that some HID kits come with a glare shield to help reduce excessive glare. Does this kit come with shields??

Also, how do you adjust the beam pattern on the yaris?

Thanks for all the posts guys. Shields, yes.

6000k on these kits should be pure white, and 8000k has a little blue in it, we call it "icy white".

I have a feeling I already know the answer, but are these for sedans also?

(I'm pretty sure it's no ...)

Hehe, you're wrong. It is for the sedan also. Check out JumpmanYaris's Retrofitted headlights with these projectors. He also has the same car as you, well same year and type.

couple of people on here to help you out -- I'm scared of the project too, but now that a few people have done it, I'll probably do it too.

I am going to grab a set on the 15th of next month if there is still one available, I'll go for it. Worst thing that will happen is I screw it up and have to put stock headlights back in.

H11 is correct for Yaris OEM foglights and the aftermarket ones I sell.
