Is this or the eco meter better for instant MPG readings?

i believe the ecometer refreshes twice per second, and the SGII you can set to refresh once every two seconds, once a second, or twice a second.

I got my Horsepower working on the Scangauge II... not sure its accurate reading 11hp some of the time...

then 0hp while in gear and not pressing on the gas. Very Cool for Gas Savings. Take advantage of DFCO (Deceleration Fuel Cutoff).

I gave it a try and its working now. I dont know how exact the calculation is but it is a funny gadget for sure.

yeah... i programmed the HP function in last fall.... fun toy for about 15 minutes. I don';t think i've ever seen it go over 80. most of the time it doesn't go above 40. When I idle its in the single digits (2-5hp).

The most helpful guages i've found so far are MPG/MPH/TPS/FWT/RPM.... sometimes i'll look at voltage, air intake, or LOD.

I found out that my Scangauge shows me a zero under full throttle. Looks like it thinks the fuel cut is working. Any solution to this? The TPS value is default = 24.
