You don't need the processor mang. After my processor took a crap we did everything we could to lower the noise floor in the P-01 that the processor's death somehow caused. We still tuned the car...under Scott's advice the stage opened up and was a lot more airy and accurate.

Oooh! I've already started on re-tooling the pillars from 2011. I have pics too! I'll text you my progress so far...

I am so bummed about the part failure keeping you from the comp.....That really sucks.
I'm also real curious about the 1st car with twin turbos and the belt drive to the axle. What car was that?

"In signal theory, the noise floor is the measure of the signal created from the sum of all the noise sources and unwanted signals within a measurement system, where noise is defined as any signal other than the one being monitored."

That vehicle with the supercharger and turbos is a frame off Ford GT. it's also worth around 300k...

The equipment failure didn't stop me from competing...it did stop me from placing. That being said, it took Scott 5 tries at INAC to come home with a trophy. I'll be back next year for sure...and I'm working with a known industry installer to work my special idea for the woofers. That and I've already stared modding my pillars from the 2011 season after Scott mentioned that I should move them back up there ASAP.

Very curious about special idea for woofers!

How are you going to install the L4SE's in a-pillars even more curious!

I just put some 15" subs in my A-pillars! I'm sure to win now!
Nobody has ever tried this before!

You could record the noise but its simply noise that is added after the original signal.

The subwoofers...It's probably going to make my yaris a true four seater versus two front seats and a bench in back...

...And I sent you the pics of my old pillars being modified...

Rebuild time!

The next pillar will be done tomorrow night. Then I take the night off on Saturday...Sunday is for sanding, and short hair. Monday is for finishing the pillars and readying for texture.

AM - is it bad when I know this movie? I haven't seen it in years. Until now I had forgotten the names of the characters...

GAWD I'm old.

Sanding tonight. Talking with one of the best repair shops in the country about the P-01. They're having trouble finding the service manual for the "P" series decks (P-01 & P-99). I may be forced to send this back to my source in Japan. Funny...I type this sitting at a sushi bar just having finished some good Tako, Ebi & tempura...maybe I'm channeling some mojo.

^short hair worked. These things are SEXY! They're nice and heavy too. No resonance messing with the pillars. Perhaps I'm excited because I could plug them in right now and make things right...I need to get a filler coat on these then more sanding. Tomorrow night...

^First layer of primer. Here in a few, I'll go back into the garage and sand more. Oh yeah, there is two layers of filler that went under this that I didn't take pics of. I was to busy applying and sanding. You can see in that bottom picture that there's a high point in the filler just above the mid. I'll sand that down by hand and get any other pinhole blemishes. The I'll prime agian. After this priming, I'll get some texture and go from there.

Cleaning up around the garage...I finally found my backup battery keys to my alarm. This means I can disconnect the battery and take the airbag out so that I can replace the steering wheel with a leather wrapped Scion tC piece...In a week or two I'm thinking. I'll have the new processor in by then along with the backup source.

New aiming looks like each mid is looking at each other, is that right?
