It would be nice if we could buy them locally, be it in the USA or Canada.

you will soon, I have some product coming from them now. They also make a nice 4- and 6-pot big brake kit for us.

I need the one for the Echo though. Can you get them too?

Edit: and with higher spring rates?

Once I see the quality for myself, I will make a stock order. I can order for any cars at that time, including yours.

They can send 5k front 4.5k rear off the shelf. That's good enough for me to see and test the sample. Higher spring rates may cost more, but I have already said we're going to want them.

If I carry the product line, I would like to stock several spring rates so I can put together kits as each customer wishes.

What spring rates would you want for your Echo?

As stiff as you can get I guess.

I have a really screwed up setup right now, but it handles pretty good.

I have Eibach Pro Kit springs in front with Koni Yellows (rebuilt with 7W oil) and Cut Ford Aerostar springs with TRD shocks in rear. I would guess the rear springs to be in the range of 350-400lbs/in. Front 25mm sway, rear built in bar + TRD bar.

Well I run 8k front 10k rear, but I doubt very many people would want that stiff a ride.

That's roughly 450lbs/in Fr and 580lbs/in Rr. That's not over the top for street use, but is pretty stiff.

I was thinking 350-400 front 350 - 400 rear... so like 6.5K - 7K. But I don't think they offer that high do they?

^ not off the shelf, but I'm sure for a large enough order, I can coax them into making whatever we want. Would be nice to see some competition for Eibach from these guys.

Save your pennies Bluevitz and buy the short stroke version (more suited to street and tarmac/ circuit racing) of what I'm running.

What are you using anyway? I'm looking for full adjustability now. I'm getting tired of my fixed ride hight.

Non canister versions on the front, external canisters on the rear.

Yes, all custom, although once he's made one set, he's got the design on file to be able to make more. I spent 4 hours with him measuring and corner weighing my car so he could build them.

Price , if you have to ask, you can't afford them.

Think minimum of $750AU per corner upwards depending on things like, custom strut tops, canisters, diameter of shock etc.
But then again, I've never had any other suspension manufacturer ring me up on a Sunday night after picking gear up from him on the Saturday to ask how it all went and if I had any dramas!

But realistically, these are proper race quality shocks, not to be compared with anything coming out of china/ Taiwan. Think top of the range Bilstein, Penske, Ohlins (the real good stuff, $10 000 and up, not the cheap mass produced stuff they sell for road cars in Japan), Proflex, Reigers etc.

They are fully rebuildable (by yourself with minimal tools), fully adjustable and tune-able (independent high and low speed bump & rebound external adjustment on the top of the range ones, oil weights, shim stacks/ valving etc), and even though there is "only" 21 clicks of adjustment, each click actually makes a noticeable difference (unlike the 40 clicks on a G4 where you can't feel a thing until after 10 clicks).

I could go on but I won't, 99% of people on this forum are not his target market. For the other 1%, google "MCA suspension" or "Murray Coote" or pm me.

Rock on!

How would he make a set for a Yaris, if "someone" were far away? -- just curious

Well, if I couldn't borrow one from someone for a day and take it to him, then I'm sure he could pull a few strings with Toyota (seeing as he supplied the Toyota Rally Team in Australia with shocks) to borrow one.
Either way, it has been done before.

Maybe you have a customer in Brisbane that might like to donate some time to the cause?
