are the toyota emblems glued on?
i thinking about taking them off or painting them black. i just want to know before i do this |

almost all auto makers stopped riveting or screwing these things on in the 80's |

The REAR emblems (Toyota, Yaris) are on there with double sided tape. NOT the same as glue (easier to remove). Use fishing line (best) or dental floss, back and forth, to work it off underneath.
I've seen them break, even with heat, just trying to pull them off. Great if it works, broken emblem if it doesn't. Up to you whether that matters or not. The FRONT emblem has tabs that snap it into place.

Just a reminder. If you want to increase your post counts, there is a thread on here to do just that and a number of other threads where you can post silly stuff until the cows come home, nobody cares.
But when a new guy asks a beginner's question on the forum, there is no need to be rude about it. posting snide comments in response to a question will probably get your posts deleted at the very least. I took mine off with dental floss. Got rid of the gooey residue with WD-40 and some kleenex. Booyah
