The 1NZ-FXE is the earliest 1.5 L (1496 cm³) version built in Japan. Bore is 75 mm and stroke is 84.7 mm. This applies also to the 1NZFE.

The 2NZ-FE is a 1.3 L (1298 cm³) version built in Japan. Bore is 75 mm and stroke is 73.5 mm, with a compression ratio of 10.5:1.

The part #'s have to be different.

lol, it'd be an interesting experiment for someone in north america to buy a used 1nzfe, pull it apart and swap cams/rods/pistons/ecu for someone in the uk or australia areas with a 2nzfe

1nzfe's go pretty cheaply around here since they're in some of the cheapest cars you can buy...

you can be UKDM rollin in your 1.3L yaris in SOCAL, bishes!

EDIT: wait, doesnt the new north american scion iQ have a 2nzfe in it?
