Question Where to locate HID ballast?

hi guys im getting HID for my fog lights, and i want to know the best place to locate the ballast, because when it rains i dont want to get my hid system wet, the system that im getting is wather proof but you never know.

install it first then youll know where to put it on..slim ballast is great plus most ballast right now are waterproof anyways..

thanks barber u gave me an idea to relocate my headlight ballast, ill try that spot for the fog ballast when i have them in my hands, ill buy them on saturday i hope the shipping will take from 7 to 14 days so once i install them ill post a pic of the locations.
