Toyota has asked U.S. dealers to limit replacement-parts orders from Japan.
As the supplies of some components from Japan is expected to be disrupted, Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) has asked the US dealers to limit their replacement-parts orders.

Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) said in an email statement that, “Damage sustained by certain Japanese parts suppliers will interrupt their normal production.”

As the Japanese plants have not yet recovered from the quake, the production is expected to be affected for another few weeks.

Analysts have said that Toyota may lose 500,000 units of output due to the Japanese quake.
All manufacturers are suffering the aftermath of the Japanese earthquake, and production has been greatly affected.

The latest reports from analysts at Advanced Research, Japan, says Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) may delay the production of at least 500,000 vehicles because of electricity issues and a shortage of parts in the wake of the earthquake.

Toyota has announced a price hike in the United States.
The largest car maker said in an official statement that the prices of most of the cars and trucks sold in the United States will be increased by 2.2 percent from the first of May onwards.

It was reported that the price changes vary from $200 to $900 depending on the model.

The Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) plants in Japan have still not become fully functional after the quake on March 11, and this latest announcement should encourage people who are in the process of weighing a purchase to get in before the deadline.

guys, had any one of you experience a foul smell coming out from your car A/C? i thought it was only me until I found out the link below. ever since I got my yaris, we already experience this smell until now, any suggestion on how to fix it?

Maraming dumi or dahon sa loob ng blower fan...Tanggalin mo ung blower motor wire at ung srcrews para malinis

sa akin ganun din, kapag unang bukas may amoy, tpos minsan habang umaandar na, may amoy tpos mawawala, para bang amoy lumot na d malaman. hindi kaya nag aacumulate ung tubig galing ng condenser tpos naiipon sa isang lugar at nagkakalumot? napansin ko kc sa ilalim ng sasakyan, may small tube labasan ng tubig galing condenser, d ko sure kung may natitira pang tubig.

based on the forum from other thread, they also experienced it and as per toyota, they are doing something to eliminate or minimize the odor coming from the A/C. didn't know the cause but I think it is not from any debris but coming directly from A/C unit of yaris. one suspect is the mold building up due to some reason. I wonder how to fix it
