Talking about the Mobil 1, usually there could be found two Mobil 1 type of oil. Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 Extended Performance. Only the last one is meant for extended oil intervals
here's a link about it: http://www.mobil1.com/USA-English/Mo...Oils/Oils.aspx |

..again with the oil and filter question?
...and NO, it was not a dumb question that was asked! That's what this forum is all about...helping each other with experiences they have had with their vehicles or whatever it may be. But as a suggestion......if you go to "search" and put in oil or filter it will give you a shit load of answers to your question regarding which is the best; which one; how much; toyota recomends, etc., in case you didn't know. Please, don't get me wrong if I sound like an asshole (even though my Wife says I am ), but is it me or do I see the same threads repeated over and over??? The suggestion was only for in case the person/s didn't know. ..here's one, hey, what kind of gas mileage do you get on your Yaris? Ok, come on and rag on me................................... Oh yeh, FRAM filters do suck/bottom of the pile as many of persons have said. sambo42xa Southern, NH ....forget what I said.....it's Friday so go have drink when you get out of work and enjoy the weekend.....

This may not help but here is something I could find for those who care.
Here is an oil filter study... It was done about 2003... So take it for what its worth.. Probally nothing now since things should be better in 3 yrs time....
