That "sounds" great.
I believe I know the exact speakers you are refering to.

BTW, I'm a Tang Band fan.
In fact, I got a "Tang Band W8-740P" that is going in a sub I'm putting together for a TV/ MM sound sys.

As far as a digital to anilog convertor, perhaps this is what you are looking for:

I use the AMC DAC 8 for a converter . Good sounding unit for around $200 . Have had it for about 14 years now .

They're TB w4-657s's, not bad little FR's... I'd love to try the Bamboo model or something like the Fountek's, but that's another speaker haha.

I've always liked that sub, looks beefy as heck! Great excursion too for an 8.
Do you have anything else TB?
I put a pair of W4-654's in a ex's rear deck lid and they worked pretty well, perfect for rear fill (no bass and slightly rolled off highs lol).

I'd like something a little more proven than that... there's a Behringer unit (FCA-202 I think) that connects with Firewire, but also the Creative EMU usb unit that's supposed to be awesome... good hit on the wallet too unfortunatly.

Isn''t the TB-4675 discontinued?

I presently got a pair of "Tang Band W3-881SJ" (3" shieded FR-8ohm) that I was going to use as the mid driver along with a Vifa silk dome tweeter for the MM sys.
However, I acquired a pair of "Polk monitor-30" speakers I'm using instead.

So, the,W3-881SJ" are going in my Klipsk 2.1 sys connected to my computers in another room. They are supposed to be a dop in replacement and give a nice improvement in sound.
IMO a good 3" speaker is all you need for a computer sys if you have a good sub unless you are going for extremely loud volumes.
A dedicated speaker for a high end stereo sys is a different story however.

BTW, I have read mixed reviews about the TB bamboo cone driver. Some like it while others say the bamboo colores the sound.
