Nips
Is there any way to display the tach like an actual instrument, much like the speedometer is in your pictures? I am not impressed with how it is shown, of course I would much more prefer to have a tach (even with my auto) since many of us don't have them in this country... Cheers! M2

That's a cool device. I like that it uses a Bluetooth dongle instead of a wire. I also like the analog gauges it can display. I would probably be distracted pushing buttons to change the display all the time. On the Scangauge I push buttons to see how I'm doing on the tank and how I'm doing for the day. And I have a Magellan and a Scangauge already.

The new Kenwood DNX9980 7" NAV Head unit that is coming out in March has this exact same feature set. Since the navigation is provided by Garmin, it will do the same thing by buying an add-on. Not sure if it is this same product.

That is so awesome! Too bad I can't afford a new GPS and the add-on. I'm wondering how good is the Bluetooth signal compare to a wire.

Nips this is awesome and I'm really keen but is this ever going to be expanded out to be compatable with other Garmen gps or other devices?

Having some problems with my Garmin ecoRoute HD module.
Not sure if it's my car or the ecoRoute HD module, but the thing won't stay connected / powered on. As soon as I connect it to my car's OBDII port, it starts flashing green (even if my key is not inserted into the car). It connects to my nuLink 1695 (sold blue light) then connects to the car (solid green light), but after awhile, the module just goes dead (no lights at all). I have to unplug from the OBDII port then plug it back in and it starts the connection process with the nuLink 1695 and car again. Then after awhile it dies again. |

Hi
I've seen you have a Parrot install as well, a quick question: Do you have the UNIKA module installed as well? If you do how do it works with the driving-well buttons? Regards |
