Ouch, 80 amps eh..... I know what you're talkin bout. I'm going in today to talk to an installer about a system in mine. I have 2000wrms of Kicker power I need to throw in lol

Im pushing 1600W RMS(alpine) so I think that I am boarder lineing it. I work at an A&B Sound and my installer is fiberglassing my box right now! I think I may be the first one here with a spare tire well box, and Ive only had the car for 2 weeks! I am so exited for this. I have waited four years for a good car and a really good stereo.

So are you upgrading?? I talked to a guy at Red Deer Visions and all he said was if I was running both amps (1000wrms each) all I'd need is a yellowtop and not a new alternator. I'm a little skeptical that though and I'm not sure if buying a new alternator would affect warranty at all. He also told me if I was running only one of the amps there'd be no upgrading needed so....well....I might just use one for now if I have to upgrade the alternator.

Have you thought about an external port?? It'd save you a bit of space, not much but really, who wants sealed??
