Speaker wiring for front and rear LB

I just bought some 6.5" fronts and 5.25" rear speakers. I searched through the forums but couldn't find a solid answer. Will the new speakers be plug and play without having to buy a wiring harness? Thanks in advance.

you might have to splice the wires but the speakers r an exact fit on the car. u have to break the factory speakers in order to have to use the factory spacer.

if im not mistaken, you can buy speaker adapter plugs so you can just plug and play. thats if you dont want to splice. i would rather solder instead of just splicing just to secure a connection.

Thumbs up It works!

I'm doing this install now, and have the fronts done. I'm using Pioneer TS-G1644RR (6.25 in.) all the way around. I was able to modify the factory plastic mounts to accept the speakers, and cut and resoldered the factory wires inside to the new speakers so the factory wires/plugs, and the speaker to panel spacings are retained. The new speakers' +/- even line up nicely with the OEM-mount terminals' +/-.

Yea just solder unless you have an amp and want real power to them then redo the wiring pretty much.
