talnlnky: Thanks for the info. I will keep 85 in mind.
By the way: 100 Deg. C. is the boiling point of water, at 1 Atm pressure... That means at sea level. In a car's sealed engine and radiator, its under pressure. This keeps it from boiling at 100 Deg. C. Ofcourse its packing a lot more heat than water at 100 Deg. C. in an open container at sea level.

filled up the 2010 automatic 3 door yesterday and the E.M. was right on the money with the calculated mileage . The C.M. and E.M. were 37.8 . The ECO-METER is set at 97 . This is a 1st for being exact . Have to see if next tank is the same .

Nope . Reset to 98 . Reads a bit low , but at least I know it's doing a bit better than what the E.M. is showing .

I'm looking into getting this cup holder mount so I can easily remove the Ecometer.
I found it for $11.84 on Walmart. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bracketron...Mount/14248250 The other alternative was getting a flat mat. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16858999148 |

It is on the left side under the dash in front of the fusebox.... Next to the interior hood pop-up latch.
Cheers!

Office Depot sells the clear 3M Dual Lock strips if you need more for under $3. My initial install wore off the adhesive since I didn't apply it long enough and I remove the Ecometer from the dash on a regular basis. In my opinion, the included 3M Dual Lock works better than velcro. It "snaps" into place and looks more durable.

Bumping up my thread cuz its already filled with so much Ecometer info.
I have proven at least one so far that, the Ecometer is accurate to 0.002% (too high) on stock intake. On the AFE dry filter type 2 short ram it was consistenly ~10% too high AND using more fuel. On my latest fill up (10.119gal/last bar blinking), i got 34.2mpg Reading / 34.12mpg actual Compared with AFE ~35.6mpg Reading / 32.7mpg actual I never touched the eco-meter settings. so the only thing changed is the airbox replaced, one thing to note is i ran these two tests on stock size tires, the 185-60-15 flavor, reset ECU, cleaned MAF sensor with MAF cleaner spray, mix of Neutral/DFCO. Ironic enough I also drove much more spirited on the stock box, and dropped .4mpg cuz i idled to power my sub when i was doing some settings. I have no idea why the eco-meter reads higher value than actual with more air, which should equate to more fuel burned. So there you have it, stock air box/TIRES = perfect accuracy. Ill do another tank on stock box, to prove without a doubt. Tho it sucks to roll on steelies...

That's helps prove my point. Pretty sure at stock setting the eco meter would give you higher than actual. Plus I got to .002% 1/5th a percent. I'm gonna try to drive as conservative as I can this tank, then good bye steelies
