07 Yaris headunit/aerial question

Hi guys

I've got an 07 Yaris, and have recently put a new head unit in.

Now I've got it installed, but the unit doesn't fit exactly in with the space, so I've got some space on either side of the unit (as shown below)

What can I get/do to cover up the spaces on either side?

Also would this aerial work on my car? I want to get it as my garage door hits on my aerial every time I go in and out of the garage, and it's annoying (and not that good for the aerial either)

There is a metra kit that fill the void. Or, you can find the smaller face plate that fit 180mm radios.

Got super excited when I saw ur SCA Link... Love that place..
Anyway with the headunit gaps you can purchase something like this:

I had the same problem with the antenna when I parked it in the garage. I simply cut to the black base. (Then I realised how tacky that looked)
The Yaris Antenna mounting hole is just a simple screw and is used on 99% of cars.
I have this on my yaris:

However if you're going for the stock look you can purchase shorter versions of the generic antenna.

Not sure how the sharkfin you linked will connect up but personally I feel it will make you like like a BMW wannabe.

I'm about to replace my HU in my stock 07 Yaris. Do you just modify the stock trim with the LCD screen?
