Rare: 2012 Yaris SE 5-speed FS at dealer
Due to on set of my last and final mid-life crisis, I am trading in my beloved silver 2012 Yaris SE 5-speed (aka "the rollerskate") to Acton Toyota in Littleton, MA. for a new Scion FR-S.
My Yaris has around 35,500 miles, is in near perfect condition except for some scrapes on the side of the rear bumper and the underneath of the front bumper due to ice and curbs in winter parking lots. This car has all standard Yaris SE features plus: 1. Weathertech front mats 2. TRD rear sway bar 3. Full set of Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 winter tires mounted on aluminum 15x6 rims with extra set of lug nuts. 4. Center arm rest - very useful 5. Factory door rub strips 6. Rear bumper protector. 7. Spare white "cue ball" shift knob I am including all of these things in the trade in. This car has been dealer serviced every 5,000 miles, has about 20,000 miles on the OE tires and rims and about 15,000 on the winter tires and rims. Typical mileage is 38-40 mpg on summer gas, 35-37.5 mpg on winter gas. If you are interested, I would recommend calling John Bernard, (978) 431-5838. Please note that I have NO financial interest whatsoever in the car, but I know that manual Yarii are very rare, particularly 3rd gen, and this one is in good condition and has all necessary and useful options for year-round use. You might as well just sell the car here and give money to the dealer instead...

Answers:
1. Center arm rest is the "Armster" arm rest. It actually is a real arm rest unlike the JDM one which is just a console compartment. 2. Yeah, I'd make more money selling the Yaris here, but I didn't want to deal with it. I save some on sales tax in MA by trade in though I'd probably get a couple thou more by selling privately. In any case, 'tis done. 3. My dealings with Acton Toyota have been reputable. Anyone who wants a manual transmission 3rd gen Yaris SE that has been well serviced, is in great condition, and has a few options (plus winter wheels and tires), give them a call. It gets traded in in just 3 hours. (EDIT: It is now in the dealer's possession) Last edited by etherdude; 10-09-2014 at 05:02 PM. |
