17 will fit just watch width and offset. With springs you might get minor rubbing on turns but should be fine.

I'm interested in some wheels on sale by one of the forum members.
Would 205/40 tires on 16x7 wheels work on yaris with tein s tech springs?

Just in case it hasn't been brought up before, the factory 15x5.5" steel wheels weigh in at 14.8lbs :)

My 15x7" WORK Emotion CR Kai's weigh in at 15.6lbs, so I'll be switching to Team Dynamics 15x7" which I hear weigh in at just over 13lbs...

Hello I have a 2010 5-door HB..and i'm looking for some pretty good wheels. Will I have any problem fitting 16" Speedline Chrono with +35 ET? The tyres will be 195/50 and the car isn't lowered rigth now..it will be, with H&R about 1,2''..no more than that. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks

Joao, how wide are the wheels? If they are 16x7's, you won't have any issues at all with that offset and tire size.

Thanks for the quick response 33OH.

Yes, they are 16x7''. Another doubt..my yaris is a diesel engine, a 1.4cc 90hp, will it run 17x7'' ET 40 with 205/45..or it will be to much ?

Thanks a lot!

Hello, i hope there is someone who can help me,
i am trying to figure this out..

I have a:
Toyota Yaris Hybrid.
right now i am driving on 15" standard weels and 175/65/r15 tires...

I want to go to 16" MAK Iguan Matt White.
(195/50r16 tirers)

But i dont know about the ET and the others thing...

I dont now what my 15" are in ET.....

What i can read, this might be the right one for 16"?

16" x 6 mm x4x100 mm ET43 57 mm
(thats the MAK Iguan)

Would these work?

Regards
Peter

16x6" ET43.
pcd 4x100
It will work.

16x7" would be ideal.
But the MAK Website says "not available". You may have to contact them first.

why would a wider rim, be better on a hybrid? ... then you got a bigger surface, that uses more BHP ?

Those tire sizes are too short. 50 series should be on 16s and 40 series should be on 17s.

Are you asking which of those two you should go with? That would be a personal preference. If you like the way 15s look go with that, if you like the way 16s look go with that. I would not go wider than 195 on a 7, not saying you CANT go wider, that is only my preference
Sorry to clarify...I would like to know what size tires would fit best on a lowered yaris considering the wheel specs I posted?

He's saying 205/50/15 (or 195/55/15) on the 15", and 195/50/16 (or 205/45/16) on the 16".

16x7 is probably pushing it weight wise, but at least you will have the torque of the diesel to help.
