Could the inner piece/mating surface be purchased to allow the use of the tabs?

That would be pretty much the whole mirror assembly, and who knows if it's even compatible with the rest of the car...

Wait to see vodka's luck. Violin had a point too. Maybe remove the tabs and adhere them to the ones you want to replace!

eTiMaGo, what are the openings on the gauge pod? 1- 3 3/8" (85.7mm) and 2- 2 1/16" (52.4mm)? Can this be connected to the dash in any manor, ie velcro, double sided tape, screws, etc? How much would shipping be for the empty pod to 54911 or do I have to wait for another group buy? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I re-read the first page on shipping.

Yes, that sounds about right for the sizes, I measured them with a ruler at first:

Center hole: 9cm (a little more than 3.5")
Side holes: 5cm (2")

For those who had not noticed the other thread, here is Violin's solution for the side mirrors:

Notice how the yaris in thailand has no yellow blinker in the headlight on the sedan. I want to do that with mine here and get yellow bulbs.. That bumper for the sedan is hotness. does it light up?

what you have is not actually a blinker, but a reflector, a mandatory safety device in the US so that the car is easier to see at night or whatever.

The red things on the back bumper here are the same, just reflectors, not lights of any kind.

Yhaaaa, my side mirrors are still on after about 600miles and some of which where over flood damaged roads (pot holes galore) and about 40miles of dirt roads... also they held-up through some night time fog with rain. So no worries :)

I'm gonna wire them up tonight (hopefully)
