With the 4 channel you can add the 6x9s later on if you miss them.
The fuses look at your amp fuse ratings.

I had a local audio shop make me some 6x9 mounting brackets out of MDF. Cost me $10 and took them about 5 minutes. I used a dremel to widen the opening on the rear deck.
I have Infinity Kappas in the back of mine and no amp. They are loud enough just running off my Eclipse CD3200 so that I can't even stand to listen to them maxed out.

My subs would shred the hell out of them 6x9's. Thats why i just left them as breathers. To let some of the air out the trunk.

Got my deck!, 4v rca outs, front/rear and sub , it has a 5 band eq and usb input, i now have all of my music on a high speed 32gig usb stick :D, a ton of color options and it cost me 180$
In the attachements one pic is of the deck installed, the other pic is the plastic cover on the door that covers the wire for the side mirror its kind of bad lighting but its inbetween the door frame and the window , i am thinking to mount the tweeter there for my component system(passive crossover), for now the components will be powered by the head unit, until i save up some money for a new battery and 4 channel, thoughts/opinions on that location? |

hey seven, how did you secure the tweeters to that plastic cover? ( my side mirrors are power, so i can mount that tweeter in the middle) , did you use hot glue gun on the inside of the plastic cover or screws or???

So let me get this right, the 6X9's in the back need a special mounting bracket available on ebay or can use a template for 1/2" MDF? WTF kind of engineering idea was that?? :D Does anyone have the link for a bracket template? These rear speakers have to go... also, is there a link for the removal/installation for the interior trim etc ?? Thanks.

@ 09 -
You mean tweeter locations like this:

That tweeter location can work well for width and stage height. What you're going to need to do is to adjust the left side amplitude to get the image into the center of the dash.
Your frequency and slope on the crossover will have some effect of the height.

Superglue and Duct Tape mannn !!!
Sq's are done professionally. I'd go for that flush look. All i used is the mounting hardware that came with the components. Screws and nuts.

Done professionally...thanks!
Still, those were quite a lot of sanding and filling. Still, it was worth the time easily. The finish to the pods was time consuming.

Gah - these (6x9 rear speaker adapters) are like $50 by the time exchange, shipping, etc to get them to me in Canada. Man I wish someone would scan them and make an SVG file or printable template like was done for the circular hatchback adapters.
