hello everybody
so i took it in and the mechanic tested the OCV was working properly but we notice it was bent quite a bit he said that thats the reason why the light wouldn't come back right aways because the sensor was a little loose and it would trow that code intermittently so I'm gonna go ahead and replace that sensor hopefully no more p0012 code he cleaned the filter underneath it was clean tho I'm buying the ocv on monday

You're mixing up the sensor and the valve. They are separate parts. The sensor is on the end of the head. The valve is the part just above the alternator.
The valve is easily damaged however from the improper use of a pry bar to tighten the belt. |

Cool, hopefully that's all it was. If it acts up again just unplug it. The car should run 100% no problem with it unplugged. It'll just though a code.

Hello
Back at it again with the interminent extensive cranking about 3 seconds or so it only seems to do it when the car sits for a few hours 2 or 4 starts up fine every morning but sometimes I can hear a grinding sound after it starts I think the starter is sticking at this point I think I'm just going to leave it as it is I'm using chevron gas by the way since I bought it not that it makes a difference, it does run better with the OCV tho but since I replaced that don't think it has anything to do with timing
