I am going to put 6.5 speakers into my front doors (2007 HB)I came across these and was wondering if they would work with the yaris. The price seems fair from what I have seen. This is canadian denomination btw. Thanks for any and all help.

I am not sure about those, they look close, but I couldn't find any real info in the net.

It seems like Amazon's canadian site really doesn't list a whole lot of options for mounting rings.

Have you considered buying speakers from crutchfield.ca? They include free mounting brackets, wire harness adapter, vehicle specific install instructions. You can usually get a much better speaker, than at best buy for the same money, including all install gear.

Here is a quick link to some nice kenwood speakers: Speakers.

When you add them to your cart, they let you pick rear or front install gear.

Keep us updated on what you end up doing.

On the crutchfield site, once you add an item to your shopping cart, they also itemize the items they include for free. In the case of speakers, the items are:

Wiring Harness - retail value $22.99 CAD
Mounting Brackets - retail value $29.99 CAD

The speakers I have were ordered from crutchfield. Yes I did get brackets, but I still had to drill new holes in the door as the mounting screw locations did not line up.

You will need the wires with adapter plugs, as the connectors on the Toyota harness aren't standard.

I shopped around for a good deal on speakers, then bought the mouting rings and adapter wires on eBay. That saved some money, although less convenient than buying the whole kit together from Crutchfield.
