What was the color of my car again ? Polar white ? :grind:
![]() At first there wasn't any snowbank. On the first day God created the earth. On the second day, God created the humankind. On the third day, God designed the Yaris. On the forth day, he made it snow like a bitch. On the fifth day, God throw down a shovel. On the sixth day, God laugh his ass off watching humans shovel it all. On the seventh and last day, God was jealous of the humans having fun driving their Yaris in the snow and ended winter. That's pretty much how every week of February goes around here :D Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

Did I mention I didn't even used a snowblower ? That snow bank in the street behind the blue Subaru was the result of my driveway+yard at ~6" deep average. Moved about 150 cubic feet in 2.5 hours. What's funny is we had twice as much over the weekend and they removed it yesterday, yet now it's like they didn't even cleaned the street haha. I'm really tempted to hook a plow in front of my car ;) Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

Oh, and with the plywood deck leaving just 2" space above the powered sub (8", 300W RMS), it creates a huge resonance cavity that shoots the low frequency of the sub straight toward the front seats and the sound is amazing in the car, you can get feel the vibrations troughs the seats and steering, but you don't have to turn it up much, aka you keep the party in the car and you don't bother the others outside like if you were to boast >1 000W of bass. I've had many people who are band members and specialize in audio mixing and they really love the sound quality you get in the front seat, particularly the bass response that is really smooth even when you crank it up hard. Before the deck setup was fully complete, my sub was sitting on the carpet where the spare battery is and it was hitting good in terms of shock wave, but you wouldn't get that smooth and deep sound flowing, it was hard to balance it to get that boom without loosing all of the mid and high from the other speakers.
Paired with a set of tweeters in the front, it's really smooth to the ears and immersive. I don't think you'd get that nice of a sound if you'd burry your sub speaker into the trunk, you'd rattle the sheet metal more than anything else. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |
