Will a C60 Transmission........
bolt up to a 1NZ-FE in a 2004 Echo?
and is the C60 a similar shift cable setup if it will bolt up? Thanks for any help. |

No, there are many modifications that need to happen to get a c60 to fit. There are several posts about it already

You can look at BluevitzRS's C160 swap to see what's involved in the 1st gen Yaris/Echo. It's not a bolt-in mod since it requires notching the frame rail. Armstrong just put a C60 in his 2nd gen Yaris sedan and required the same modification.
That said, it may be possible to use an EC6X style from a recent gen MT Corolla, but nobody has done any research into mounts, brackets, cables, wiring etc. and adapting the throw-out bearing from lever to cylinder style. Don't be discouraged though, there are plenty of people here that would be willing to help point you in the right direction to start the research yourself and you'd get mad props from the community for pioneering the swap. |
