ISO - Ultra Racing 23mm Rear Sway Bar
Hi all,
Does anyone know if the Ultra Racing 23mm rear sway bar for the MkII Yaris is still available to purchase? I'd like to get one for my 2007 Yaris 5-spd hatch but haven't had any real luck locating one. TIA! |

I haven't been able to find one for sale brand new either. I'm pretty sure they've been discontinued.

I might opt for the Whiteline Performance HD adjustable rear sway bar instead. Or just take the easy route and get a TRD rear sway bar. |

I have a TRD on my 2014 and it made a huge difference with cornering stability.

I've read nothing but praise for virtually any rear sway bar installed on these cars. I've been back and forth between either the TRD rear sway bar and the larger Whiteline rear sway bar. The price difference between either is fairly negligible. I like the tidy factory-like installation of the TRD bar, but I'm intrigued by the adjustability of the Whiteline bar. I don't track my car at the moment, but I do enjoy spirited driving whenever I can. However, what I'm really looking for is high-speed stability as most of my driving is done on the highway these days.

BTW - what size wheels and tires do you have on your car? I'm looking to get a new set for my own car (which is currently on 15" steelies and Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires). |

Just go with TRD. Much like coilovers, people are drawn to the adjustability aspect but truth be told, nobody makes post install adjustments.

You make a very good point. Unless there's some sort of problem, once installed the job is done. And frankly, I don't think I have a sensitive enough rear end to make said adjustments anyway.

i will say tho on adjustable internal damping rate struts/shocks those DO get adjusted and slowly dialed around till you get the feel right but imo thats still part of the install it just sometimes takes a month to find "that spot" after that they typicaly never get touched again
so how much does the rear sway clean up the handling, it really doesnt feel terribly unstable right now..maybe a lil "light" but im not sure id call it unstable, im also running a wider than stock but same height tire as OE..due to the old school wheels i do lay it into the corners pretty hard and always feel the front rubber trying to roll over long before i feel much from the tail, but i guess it could be unloading and weight transfering to the front in body roll |
