Cheap TTCR-II Strut brace
Hey guys I bit the bullet and decided to try one of these cheap chinese ttcr-II strut braces from aliexpress.
Cost me $98usd shipped, was a little drama you have to choose china ems for shipping or it wont be accepted for shipping, but the good news is they use UPS and the parcel got to me in 7days, fastest package Ive got from anywhere overseas. The seller was really good, communicated and helped with every stage when the carrier had to be changed. (I chose the normal aliexpress shipping first and its only for smaller items) Here is the link https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3267...62721802BTAoca Quality also looks really nice, welds are good, materials are nice, the ends are nicely finished tho I will probably paint the ends red and sticker bomb the middle. Side note they do NOT come with the 4 bolts you need to mount it up so Im going to buy m10x40mm bolts, nuts and spring washers and will post some pics of it mounted up. |

Went to the wrecker and found the perfect suspension bolts, nuts and washers for the job , was a bit of a struggle and I ended up having the shave the lower rear corners just a smidge and it went from a total pain in the ass to just easily sliding in to bolt up. The top strut mounts are not easy ether, you will need a magnet to use to extend your bolts up through the holes, its too tight for fingers to hold the bolt up in there. Taking out the struts first would make this super easy but I just jacked the front of the car up and did it wheels on.
But accelerometer tells me there is less body roll in corners now, feels really good to drive. |

I made my own rear one at the same time but yes, body roll substantially lower.
The problem with the "falling" out of your chair doesnt feel as bad now the thing isnt acting like a boat. The suspension setting of standard yaris/vitz is basically wet noodle. |

I noticed a big change after the installation of the rear sway bar and the front sub- frame brace.
