Everything is now working. Max maf values is now 73g/s with stock intake 65g/s. So about 10% more horsepower. no dtc put idle is litle high about 1000rpm. Car now report lot better fuel mileage, might be false reading.

How did you determine the sizes for the runners and plenum and throttle body? I have a lot of questions and want answers! Looks great for homemade. Why is the flange an inch or two (25-50mm) thick?

Mainly i use materials that i found in scrap pile. but also thick flange prevents warping when welding, and is easy to make smooth transient from runner to intake port. runner is litle bigger than port after it has been crush to oval shape. runner length is shortest i can make without moving dipstick, i have try various lengths on my race car and seems to be that 2NZ like short runner, when max power is about 7000rpm range. plenum and throttle bodysize are big so they don't make any limitation, in full throttle its act like 4 intake trumpet. Part throttle things i don't care, this was only test what oem ecu reacts for it. i will later modify intake to fit rwd install and install it to my 2NZ swapped 66 corona

stock ecu works fine no dtc and every obd test pass. some ecu versions may be different results. This is euro3 emission manual trans version. Little more power on high revs under 4000 may lost some.

Problem for testing is there is some wrong with engine, it has dear spot on power output 4500-5500rpm even with stock intake. i thing it may be some mechanical noise for badly maintain high mileage engine. knock sensor hears piston slap or something an take ignition timing way down.

I have spare denso ecu with same connectors from my suzuki baleno. so install migrosquirt module in it. now engine works fine, now i also can remove maf or made bigger size maf tube.

everything is still made to plug and play, and original parts are non modified, so its under half hour job to made it stock again.
