They aren't rated for pressure, they are rated for LPH (liters/hour), and the horsepower they are capable of producing.

UPDATES 3/29
Now we have an xB pedal, which means the throttle-by-cable challenge is solved. xB pedal > xB cable > xB throttle body > xB intake manifold. FIREWALL PASS-THROUGH XB THROTTLE BODY

Bolts right up and clears everything just fine. look at post 163.
m911gt, maybe you are referring to the exhaust mani? We have way more room up front than the xB does; their motor is forward about 3-4" [ added two more pics of cable set up ]

The manifold allowed us to bolt on the xB throttle body. Easiest way to convert to cable.
Will do a custom mani + larger TB later.
