Wife got a new (to her) 4Runner with the stipulation that I get a new receiver, speakers, window tinting, on my 2007 Toyota Yaris with integrated radio. I installed cheap Alpine 6.5" in the doors and matching Alpine 6x9" in the rear deck and a Pioneer AVH-2300NEX as the receiver. I would have liked a sub, but I'm old.

See attached image.

And now for something completely different. JDM OEM!

Plug and play Toyota touchscreen HU with VOICE NAVIGATION! (Navigation obviously doesn't function outside of Japan ) Needed an AUX in, which this HU's TV input works well enough for, and of course it can play my MiniDisc collection.

Nope, driving it until the wheels fall off. Or more likely another Bay Area driver hits it and totals it out.

I had mine professionally installed and they used a kit, so I know there's some options out there. I'd have to call him to find out exactly which it is, but others have discussed them in different posts. Should be able to find some with a little searching.

10'' display

ATOTO A6 PRO.

Absolutely love this unit.It uses a ball joint swivel and also slides up and down.Much better then some other units that use pins of sorts to attach screen.Rock solid. It can be slid down far enough to cover the volume knob and have it positioned more evenly.I like it up high.

This unit by far exceeded my expectations.I am using carwebguru launcher which is highly customizable.

Plus it has manual volume dial which I like. You can use screen for volume like any other android but I really like this feature.

Crap pic.It looks way better then this.

$370.00 CAD and worth every penny.Amazon.The neg reviews are from people who probaly have no idea what they are doing when it comes to car audio.

If you want it all you gotta spend more.

This is really cheap price for a headunit.

yeah but me.I dont care about sirrus or even streaming online, but we have a bunch of cool HD stations around here, which are free.
I have about an 8 year old conventional Pioneer head unit with it, but I've about abused this thing to death and am considering a replacement. I know Pioneer makes them in the double Din, I'm just a tightwad sometimes
And like ya say, it comes at a price. HD isnt really that popular of a feature..most folks dont really know what it is.

this here is HD Radio Ready. You probaly want a nice large screen though?

I cant really see a reason not to get a droid unit nowadays.

I bought my Yaris new in 2010. I replaced the factory system shortly after.

I built the sub box back in 2010, and it still performs admirably. The Earthquake SWS woofer is amazing.

The original Pioneer radio was awesome, but the other day the bluetooth quit working. It was time for an upgrade

I've only had this unit a few days, but I like it
