weekends, mm, when you work 3 different positions in two different companies, there are no weekends, just days when you work out of the office.

hah, i know how ya feel alex.. i worked 2 diff positions at a mortgage company plus another part time at macys.... 60+ hours, no days off.. for a straight year... and then i found this job.. 40 hrs and more pay.. normally i work weekends, but since im in 3 months of training right now for insurance billing, i am mon-fri. this training is incredibley draining, and they are trying to get us to work overtime.. they are desperate. they took 12 people off the floor(and the most efficient people at that! we each do a minimum of 15 claims a day)

Im not sure what that equates to workload-wise, Ive never dealt in insurance

I work full-time at a Computer Shop as Head Tech, also web designer on the side for the same company, and I run Staples and other Big box stores tech installation services as contract on the side

we are expected to complete a claim in 620 seconds. that is being on the phone & imputting information. from start to finish 620 seconds. thats like when u think about how quick that is. in actuality and providing GOOD service (and without rushing already stressed people) i usually do it in about 700 seconds. once this new training is complete, we will have even less time appropriated, 612 seconds.. and that includes going over someones policy and making sure they are properly insured.... so if anyone has questions about their insurance coverages, i can assist

yup! and the time you are logged into the system and how long you are off the phone/away from your desk. too many bathroom breaks or ones that are too long may cause your schedule adherence to slip, which means no quarterly incentive... call center work is not for the weak bladders
