Just dropped off my Jeep Liberty for its 90,000 service. It also was posting two CELs for the evaporative emissions control system. Too bad the fix wasn't as easy as a new gas filler cap. Today will be expensive.

Going to Staples to look at a small laptop. More portable. This weekend is the sales tax holiday. Designed to help parents get stuff for back to school without paying sales tax and save a few bucks. All supplies, clothes, shoes, bookbags, computers and more are tax free.

Gotta save those pennies where you can. I suppose it could really add up if you had several kids and were buying lots of stuff and big ticket items like computers. They do it twice a year.

I am thinking about the hp dv2-1030us, 12.1" with 4gb and 320 hard drive. No cd drive, but comes with one in the box to add MS Office and Quickbooks. Only $549 after rebates and no tax.

One under the steering column and the other under the passenger glove box, to light the leg space!
