How Toyota manages to build such a great engine and crap on the paint is beyond me.

From my understanding they changed from oil based paint to water. So it's thinner but yeah cheap. My car is used so the pain job all over is crapped on. I've given up on it cause it's used! lol. It's all good. As long as it works.

166,000 Kms ... a tad over 103,000 miles. I've only had it since about 160,000 Kms.

Just a mere 128000 miles so far in my ‘03 3-door hatchback, powered by the trusty yet peppy 1-litre engine. Still plenty of miles left in it!

2007 Yaris here and still haven't hit 100,000. I will in the next few months, however.

Just turned 350000 tonight! 2010 yaris 4 door hatch with 5 speed. Still has the original factory clutch! The only parts replaced have been 3 wheel bearings (the passenger side rear is still original), 1 alternator, 1 cv shaft on drivers side, and of course brake rotors and pads and tires. If you have 100000 on yours it's not even broken in yet if u take care of it. These things have to be made with alien technology..... They are almost indestructible. It also doesn't burn a drop of oil between changes every 3500 miles. Shooting for half a mil! And yes..... Original water pump too!!

Milage for Yarrie 2022

I put all those miles on myself. I drove cross country once. Go Yarrie 2008. She has a leak somewhere letting in water in the trunk, but two washed clothes at a time take care of that.

225,000. Wife ran smack dab into a parked truck's trailer hitch going about 35MPH. I thought it'd be totaled. I bought two new bumper brackets, repaired a gapping hole in the bumper cover, painted it. Almost like new again. No mechanical failures to date.

currently sitting in the mid 160k(kilometers) so probably over 100,000 ish, only annoying rattle is a common one, paints still good EXCEPT the roof where wifes surfboards would drip salt...but its just clear coat, no major repairs dents or otherwise couple penny size dings and some hood chips..the rear leaks SOMEWHERE when it POURS and its only very little, on either side under the side cargo trays at the very trunk end....i know its not the hatch seal as i modded the latch so it shuts a lil tigher a long time ago when i thought it was letting alot of water in

still tight n crisp everywhere...laugh at the low mileage all you like but its been a daily driver all its life.and ALWAYS outside...wife bought it new in BC living in victoria..so on an island milage doesnt rack up all that fast, in the past 7 or so years weve doubled the milage since being stateside

only real thing showing wear is the drivers seat side bolster(left hip)..not a speck of rust and in all honest the paints so nice i dont see a repaint any time in the forseable future...aside from likely the roof between the drip rails

aside from tire and brakes(another set of both before summers out) nothings really been replaced, heck the original headlight bulbs were swaped for HIDs a few months back, and i swapped out the driver door seal due to "yellowing"..headlights have to get swapped out this year tho as the "crazing" is far to bad to polish out...its on the inside of the lensing

I'm at 135k (218k km's) now but only had the car for 2 years. I just did a bunch of work to it so I expect it run fine without any major work for another 100k. I'm constantly amazed at how a 17 year old car can still be a strong daily and run so well.
