I'd get the Bit Ten and the DRC. This will allow you to use all the equipment from your "old" system in the MB.

You don't need a shop or a bit tune. Any shop will charge you for the service. Considering you already have 1/3rd octave EQ experience with the P-99, you can EASILY work the Bit Ten yourself.

It just takes a few minutes to get acquainted with the layout and a few weeks to fully explore the abilities and uses.

Don't hesitate to make the jump. If I can do it with the Bit One, you can do it with the Bit Ten.

Nice phone screen. I'll have to try to come up with my own!

Thanks!

I think I'm going to get a bit 10 by the end of the week, looks like a good plan and the fact that I can retain the stock head unit functions and the Bluetooth it would be Fantastic!

I'm quoting for Tint this week, 50% all around.

Here is the Full page!

Don't waste the money. It's not like you're going to blow anything up. It's just a small battery. What is the cost? around $60? You can make a home made version cheaper.

If I get the specs I can make one for sure, My RC airplanes use lots of batteries and I used to put them together.

Tolm...How the heck would you know? Unless I'm mistaken, you don't use either.

That being said, you're correct. The P-99 or the Bit ten don't sound better than the other. It's all in what D wants to use. If he wants to keep the stock look of his new MB (smart choice), use the Bit Ten. Otherwise, use the P-99.

I am into passive systems recently, trying to stay away from sound processing.

I would never buy p-99, same as bit one. Honestly, to my ear p99 sounds very comparably to p080.. p99 is hugely overpriced SQ wise. IMHO

I had Clarion HX-D2, Alpine Juba, Denon A100, Denon DCT1, Ural CDD in the past to compare.

Operative phrase, "IMHO" which is absolutely and unadulteratedly subjective given your experience with the pieces in question.

Unless you've used the pieces, you can't objectively comment piece for piece as to which is better.

If the opinion was for any of the pieces, Clarion HX-D2, Alpine Juba, Denon A100, Denon DCT1, or the Ural CDD...we could work of the objective experience that you have with those pieces.

I liken it to the opinion of someone who is trying to compare his experience of driving a McLaren P1 to a Porsche 918...who doesn't own one or has EVER truly driven one. You can't come at the debate with an informed opinion since there is no truly relative experience.

That's not bad...

42.2 was my average most of the time in Winter used to drop to 40.5 and I always been very careful to make the calculations.

I'm guessing the MB would do a steady 34-35 MPG average in every day driving even hitting traffic or playing with the Turbo a few times for quick sprints!

We'll see after break in!
