No the PDRL lights won't do anything unless you have an auto. Mine is a 5 speed and they don't light up on my car.

good- you know i wonder how long it's going to take to strike paydirt? The cost of a new one just seems totally out of line to me- the prices i've seen on the board here for new range from $420 up! so it'll be used or nothing i think.

Still checking everywhere i can think of

Yea my dealer wanted $520 and none of the places I called will sell it new without first verifying the mileage and programming the cluster so I'd say used is definitely the way to go...assuming you can find one, of course. It's just that a parted-out 2009 "S" is gonna be a rare thing to find.

came close a couple of times on eBay- but i just don't want to forego the ABS light for safety although I could probably live with big KmPH w/ small Mph.

Any luck with that place D&J I gave you yesterday? If not, try here: Knucklebusters Used Auto Parts @ 1-877-453-0909. I got an email from them too.

I have the KPH cluster, and it only took me a few days to adjust from reading MPH to KPH. Not a big deal whatsoever. If you're worried about the ABS light, talk to CTscott about that warning light. He's incredibly knowledgeable about the Yaris's electronics and he'd probably be able to help you with getting that light working on one of those clusters one way or another. BTW, my cluster cost under $80 including shipping on eBay.

tried them both Mike- still no luck

I'm hopeless regarding auto electronics. While I'm sure CT could rig something up that works- but for me- realistically it needs to be plug and play.

The combination meter gets the ABS info via the CAN bus, so unfortunately there really isn't a way to add the light to a non-ABS cluster.
