I know this is a dry wrap but I am curious as to whether or not anybody has tried to clear over it and was successful?

I think you could but since its textured it will turn out kinda funny. Like if you have ever laminated something that isnt 100 percent flat it will essentuate all the bumps and might make it look a bit cheesy.

I prefer the fabric texture look it makes it look more oem.

^ If that were true, real carbon fiber would look pretty bad. I think they are talking about a coat of clear fiberglass, which would have a smooth surface. Just don't know if the Neffy can take it -- I emailed today.

...Is there any way that you could post a picture of the silver and the black next to each other? I'm trying to decide which to cover some panels with in my car. If the silver is darker I might go with that instead.

I have a DEH P-01 with a black face to blend into the dash. I'd also like to wrap my A and C-Pillars...

Just gotta get the shop owner to get on board...I've got some sweet tweeters that are in a black aluminum housing that needs some of the black wrap.
